UC MAS Mental Arithmatic

Are you concerned about your children’s mental development? UCMAS is a leading worldwide Abacus education provider, which would help your children develop their mental arithmetic abilities, concentration, observation, visualization & imagination, and memory.  UCMAS trains children through a series of 10 structured levels, where the lessons are taught in a Play-Way method, easy to understand and work independently even by a 4 year old child. Within few months of training students can solve arithmetic calculations mentally in few seconds with accuracy, which cannot be acquired even-after 10 years of schooling.  At a Fixed Duration (approximately 3-months / 12-weeks per Level) with Simple Assessments any normal child can move on to next Levels, which enable them to complete the entire course (10 Levels) successfully with No Repetition.  -          Q: Would UCMAS help only in Mental Arithmetic?

-          A: No it will help develop your Children mental development through using both sides of the brain hemispheres enhancing their visualisation, concentration and memory.

-          Q: Does it help grow the child’s confidence?

-          A: Yes it would definitely help build your child’s confidence especially in Math as well as academic performance in general.  However, a child who is confident in Math may be less confident in other areas such as sciences, arts or even sports.

-          Q: Would such over-confidence negatively affect his/ her personality?

-          A: The negative impact of such confidence on personality will always depend on how the parents choose to raise up their children. The children could be arrogant or showing off their skills or they could learn how to use such skills to help others. It is the parents’ responsibility to equip their children with the useful tools they will need to face the different challenges in life without compromising their afterlife.

-          Q: Can my child try first the course and then decide to join later?

-          A: Like AE Tuition and Kumon, Children cannot attend the course and use the material before registering and paying the first monthly fee.

-          Q: Do I have to pay the Registration fee? Is the Registration fee refundable?

-          A: Like AE Tuition and Kumon, to start the course you have to pay a registration fee and an upfront monthly fee and these fees are non-refundable. That said, should you decide that you are no longer interested in the course you can stop any time and not pay from the following month.

-          Q: What do I get for the Registration fee?

-          A: You get a bag with an Abacus, Two books for ten levels ( 2 are given at the start of each level), and a T-shirt.

-          Q: What is the BMACA deal with UCMAS Centre?

-          A: BMACA has arranged with UCMAS Centre in the UK to offer its members exclusive discount of £70 a month instead of £80; a total saving of £100 a year. We also agreed with them to offer the course in Reading if the total number of students exceeded 10.

-          Q: Can I register my children sometime in the future and still qualify to BMACA discount?

-          A: Unfortunately not as new students cannot join an existing class halfway through. They will need to start from level 1. To start a new class from level 1 we need another 10 new students to have it in Reading with the same discount. Thus, if you decided to join later you will have to either wait for such a new class to form or to register your child at Hays Centre (Closest centre to Reading) and pay £80 a month instead of £70.
